Bella Vita Pullover
Bella Vita is the line for the part of the day nobody is paying you for. Lighter than the heavyweight, shorter in the body, and soft before you have earned it.
The garment
- 10 oz enzyme-washed fleece, soft from the first wear rather than the twentieth
- Cut two inches shorter in the body than the heavyweight
- A small sunrise arc printed low on the left hip, tonal rather than contrasting
- Split hem gussets, so it sits flat over a waistband
The enzyme wash takes the stiffness out of new cotton. It also means it will barely shrink, so buy it the size you want it now.

Read the length column before you decide it runs short. It does, on purpose.
Wash cold, inside out, tumble dry low. Fleece takes its time to dry and the drawcord tips crack if you cook them. Pull the cords out first if you are the careful type. Most people are not.
Cut a little shorter so it works with high waisted jeans. The sunrise print on the hip is sweet and small.
