The caffè has three signs and uses one of them. Here are all three, for a door of your own.
The cards
- TORNO SUBITO, back soon, the one that has been on the glass since the seventies
- CHIUSO PER FERIE, closed for the holidays, for August or for any afternoon you decide is August
- MAI APERTO, never open, which is at least honest
- Set in the same serif as the card on the door, one card to a half page, with a punch mark at the top for string
- Crema cards in charcoal ink, or charcoal cards in crema ink
There is no APERTO card. We looked. My uncle says he never needed one.
Hang one on an office door, a bedroom door, a fridge. Not on a shop. People will believe it.
Il nipote
Two PDFs in each color, one for A4 and one for US letter, vector, with a 3 mm bleed and crop marks. One card per half page: three cards over two sheets. Print on card at 250 gsm or heavier; paper curls in a doorway draft and then it looks like a real shop, which is the wrong joke.
The link is on the confirmation page and in the receipt email, both the moment the order settles. It works on any device and stays live for a year.
Nothing ships, so no address is asked for. Keep the receipt email. People delete it and then write to me.
