The bill
- Eight slips to a page, each 50 by 130 mm, the narrow size of a real caffè bill
- IL CONTO at the head, the wordmark under it, ruled lines for what was had, and TOTALE at the foot
- TORNO SUBITO along the bottom edge, which is what everyone says when the bill arrives
- Every slip is number 62. I stopped arguing about it in 1981
- Charcoal ink on white, so it prints on any printer you already own
Fill one in, fold it once, leave it on the desk. It works better than asking.
