Demitasse Cup, 3 oz
Sized for a double, shaped to keep the crema together, and heavy enough at the base that the shot does not go cold halfway down.
The cup
- 3 oz, which is a 40 g double with room left to look at it
- Tulip interior, so the crema stays in a ring instead of spreading flat
- Thick unglazed base for heat mass, glazed everywhere else
- Rosso band under the rim, the full logo on the side
- Stacks three high without the rims touching
One cup, no saucer. The base is 2.2 inches, so the saucer you already own will take it.

2.4 inches tall, 2.6 inches across the rim, 2.2 inches across the base. 3 oz to the brim, 6 oz empty. The numbers are there so you can check your saucer.
Dishwasher and microwave safe. Stoneware crazes over years of hot and cold cycles, which shows as fine lines in the glaze. Cosmetic, and not grounds for a letter.
Thick base, nice tulip shape, and the red band is a sharp little detail.
