Soft crown, curved brim, and the kind of corduroy that improves as the wale flattens.
The hat
- Eight-wale cotton corduroy, garment washed
- Unstructured six-panel crown, so it folds into a pocket and comes back
- Embroidered mark on the front panel, tonal thread
- Brass slider strap, adjustable from 21 to 24 inches
One size. The strap covers most heads and the crown is soft enough to forgive the rest. Mine has been sat on twice and you cannot tell.

One size, adjustable from 21 to 24 inches at the brass slider. The crown is 3.5 inches deep and the brim is 2.75 inches, curved as it comes and easily curved further by hand. Measure before you write to me.
Spot clean with cool water and a soft brush. A washing machine breaks the crown shape. A dishwasher, which someone will tell you works, cracks the brim over time. It does not work.
Soft cord, the brass slider feels solid, and it doesn't sit high on my head like most caps.
